hare krishna, hare krishna!

what an adventure!

the festival of colors was the dirtiest thing i've ever done.
it was wild.
and so much fun.

we threw color at strangers and sang the hare krishna chant to ring in spring.

hare krishna hare krishna
krishna krishna hare hare
hare rama hare rama
rama rama hare hare

so fresh and so clean clean.

there's no such thing as a bubble at the festival of color. strangers are friends and personal space is out of the question.

nicole.

brooke.

bridge.

and me.
eating the fist full of yellow chalk brooke tried to suffocate me with.

and the pink chalk she tried to blind me with.
does she hate me?

we threw chalk all day long, but at one o'clock we threw high in the sky as a collective group. by the time it landed, it was a cloud of red.

it was muddy and crowded and dirty and exciting and full of love - in that hippy, woodstock kind of way.
and then we went to five guys for burgers and fries... because anything goes in utah county. byu kids set the "anything goes" standard for us.

jen, you're coming next time.
