going on day 4, post-op... here's the update on my mom:
as of yesterday, she was feeling human, at last - which is a good thing.
they had to take out more than they originally thought they would.
{so much, actually, the doc told her she'd have "a balance problem" - so diplomatic}
but the lymph nodes weren't cancerous, which means it hasn't spread anywhere else.
good news!
next step - radiation.
bring it.
