brooke and i went to music and the spoken word this morning for a special, all-american tribute.
brooke is the ticking clock friend who makes sure we're always on time... or ten minutes early if she has any say... so we managed to sit in the 3rd row {considering there are 3538064 rows, it WAS pretty impressive.} we sat next to the sweeeeetest old couple.
that old man held his wife's hand the whole hour through, tapping his fingers and doing a little hand dance to the beat of "76 trombones"
it was as charming a thing as i had ever seen.
so, naturally... i thought i should secretly snap a picture and blog about it.
but, hello........ i forgot about the FLASH!
so, mid-live broadcast, attempting to be my slyest...
i created a spectacle.

but i got the picture i wanted.... and i resumed "act natural" mode immediately.
and still, it was a sweet moment.
