Sunday Sesh.

A couple of Sundays ago, a small group of friends and I had a little barbecue and drinks at South Bank. We drank cheap wine, gazed at the river and talked shit for hours. It was simply magical.

On Saturday, My best friend Cassann and I decided to go to winterbeatz, basically because I was hoping that 50 cent would ask me to be his wifey/baby mama (he didn't btw - devo). I also ran into my little sister Georgia (the redhead) and her friend Emma which was nice. We only got the general admission tickets but we were lucky enough to be pulled into the bling ring (VIP) by a really nice security guard so we got to see 50 up close. G-Unit were smoking jays on stage, Lil Kim was grabbing her crotch and swearing and Mario was serenading us with his gorgeous voice. Overall it was an awesome concert. I had so much fun =)

Friday nights with my favorite partner in crime.

For too many years to count, my naughty little friend Cassandra and I have been bad influences on each other at the best of times.  She is the friend you count on to get wasted with on the weekends, but still call her when your having a meltdown. Most people say we shouldn't be friends because we always end up reeking havoc when we are together, but that is precisely why I will love her forever.

This Friday night (like almost every Friday night) we had our usual dinner and wine date followed by some dancing. We went to an amazing Italian restaurant in the city called 'Pan E Vino's' and we both had the 'Pesto E Pollo' (above) and a bottle of pink moscato.

I was dressed in my vintage floral cape, my high waisted mid calf pink vintage skirt and my $5 clogs.

A bunch of trouble makers and I decided to go the the big dirty pub/club 'The Normanby' this Sunday.

It was my most favorite Sunday destination when I was 16 and 17 for the following reasons:

1. They would easily let me in with my dodgy fake ID

2. The drinks were cheap

3. It was the only place to have a lot of fun on a Sunday night in Brisbane at the time.

Until a few months ago I hadn't been to the place since I was 17. After the seafood festival I popped in for a little while but I really got a feel for the place again this Sunday. 

I rocked up in my vintage jacket, jeans, massive earings, prostitute pink lipstick (my friend Rachael's description) & chunky heels, which was very casual for me. If you cancel out tons of guys saying obscene things about you and/or your body as you pass by and the long toilet lines the place isn't too bad for a Sunday destination. The drinks are still cheap, the old Aussie rock is pumping and there is a few levels of different music including a club room. We got there at 6pm and I wasn't home until 2am so something must have kept me occupied.

West End Markets, Cupcakes, Brisbane Winter Festival & Silly Poses

My baby Julius & I went to the West End markets on Saturday to do our fruit & veggie shopping. This is Julius in his sexy grocery bag as a backpack haha. We listened to some live music, had a chicken gyros and it was a whole heap of fun =)

Afterwards, I met my friend Kathi for dinner at 3 Monkeys (as usual) and then we decided to check out the Brisbane Winter Festival. It is nuts to see people skating outside in Brisbane. It looked really beautiful. 

Kathi has been obsessed with the 'burnt orange' colour for a while now and she finally found her perfect burnt orange accessory in her jacket. She was delighted haha. I like yellow. And jumpers & tights. Clearly. It was a great day =)
