A Beautiful Storm.

A couple of weeks ago I pretended to be a functions coordinator for an amazing restaurant in Cleveland called the The Lighthouse for a week.

I had an absolute blast. The food was amazeballs, the staff were so lovely and the coffee was scrumptious! If you live in Brisbane and havent checked out the Lighthouse Restaurant where the bloody hell have you been?? Get your behind down there and order their calamari entree and the barramundi main (displayed beautifully with pine nuts, rocket, potatoes & olives might I add!), seriously. Do it. I am always right when it comes to food, just ask my thighs!

I took my camera in on my last day and really took advantage of the amazing scenery by taking photos of pretty much everything. Just before home time, this scccuuuugggeee storm came. I was genuinely scared, wasn't it ferocious? I really adored the way it wrapped its big arms around the water and turned the sky into a silver and charcoal coloured masterpiece. It was simply gorgeous! There is something so beautiful about a perfect storm, and this was definitely a picture to remember forever.

I hope you like my photos. Talk soon xx

Sunday Sesh.

A couple of Sundays ago, a small group of friends and I had a little barbecue and drinks at South Bank. We drank cheap wine, gazed at the river and talked shit for hours. It was simply magical.

I took some photos on my new Nikon D7000 and here they are...

A little peak of the unedited photos from my shoot with Bryce Stroud.

At 6am last Sunday I hurled ass out of bed for my much awaited shoot with Bryce Stroud and his lovely assistant Katie.

The shoot was black and white, vintage inspired and shot mostly with a film camera.

I had an absolute ball breaking into a back yard, climbing a fence, getting changed with the lovely Katie holding my over-sized vintage jacket as a shield from the West End morning people. First of all, I had no fucking idea that people were awake that early on a Sunday. They deserve a massive shiny medal. Just sayin.

Bryce was simply amazing. Polite, visionary, creative and bloody talented. The shoot was mostly on film (my first ever film shoot yay!!) but he was lovely enough to shoot me through the unedited photos that he took on his digital.

Below, is part of his amazing work. I cannot wait to see the rest!! What do you think??

P.S. I do apologize for the crappy little lines that keep appearing in my uploads. They are not Bryce's doing. Thanks blogger =(

Getting ghetto at Winterbeatz =)

I tried to upload some videos for you, but my computer was getting her evils out =(

On Saturday, My best friend Cassann and I decided to go to winterbeatz, basically because I was hoping that 50 cent would ask me to be his wifey/baby mama (he didn't btw - devo). I also ran into my little sister Georgia (the redhead) and her friend Emma which was nice. We only got the general admission tickets but we were lucky enough to be pulled into the bling ring (VIP) by a really nice security guard so we got to see 50 up close. G-Unit were smoking jays on stage, Lil Kim was grabbing her crotch and swearing and Mario was serenading us with his gorgeous voice. Overall it was an awesome concert. I had so much fun =)

How was everyones weekends? xx
