Beautiful Tattoo Inspiration

Many people see tattoos and get inspired by either their beauty of their meaning. Many tattoos are done because they mean a lot to the person who is getting the tattoo done. Some tattoos are done because they got inspired by someone else’s work. It is important to find the meaning of the beautiful tattoo design that is being chosen. If you choose a symbol or a traditional picture to have tattooed on your body, it is important to have a sense of inspiration from that tattoo. A tattoo with inspiration behind it will have more meaning that a tattoo that was done just because ‘it looked cool’.

Tattooing is a form of art that will stay with you for the rest of your lift. Getting inspiration for a particular tattoo is important so that you still like the tattoo even years down the road. One story of being inspired to get a tattoo is the passing of a loved one. I was just at a house of a young girl who has just a few days to live, she is 11 years old. Her dad has tons of tattoos all over his arms, but you can bet that he will find room on his body to get a loving tattoo of his daughter if she passes away. Short of a miracle she will pass away at any time.

The hardest part of a tattoo is finding that inspiration to get it. When a loved one passes away its much easier to get a tattoo in their name. It’s sad but this is a way that many people deal with a death in the family.

The arms, wrists and chest are the most common places to put a tattoo of this type.

Ryan.Tremearne.paddle.out

I am truly amazed by the paddle out in remembrance of Ryan Tremeanre, my cousin that was killed in a hit and run accident a little while ago in Ventura, California. Ryan was really big into his surfing and on Saturday the 9th April all his friends and family gathered on North Beach in San Diego and paddled out into the ocean with flowers and some of his ashes to remember Ryan's life and celebrate his love for surfing and the ocean. Here are some pictures.
Ryan, we miss you everyday and you are always in our thoughts.

inspiration.and.update.

It's been a while since my last blog, I have been so busy with work and then it was the weekend and we had another busy weekend. Our weekends seem to be getting busier and busier, which is great because I love socialising and seeing my friends and having fun. On  Friday, Sheik Salim wanted to go out on the boat and I was invited to join them which was great. We went south to a place called Quriat which was amazing, Luke took his spearfishing gear and he shot some fish for lunch, it was great to see the Arabs enjoying the fish that was cooked the South African way!
I went snorkeling and saw a beautiful big ray which was very exciting because this is the second ray I have seen since I have been in Oman and it was really big. Here is one of the beautiful pictures of Quriat and on of the adorable little jellyfish I saw(these ones don't sting!):

And I thought I'd leave you with a lovely image to make you smile.

weekend.adventure.

Back at work today, it's a "Monday" for me. I'm feeling a little tired but lots of work to do today! Wow, I had a really amazing weekend. On Wednesday we had a lovely party with friends at their house, and then on Thursday we went camping on the beach for the night. Camping was so much fun and a great way to get out of Muscat and relax for a while. Friday had a ball, she played watch dog all night, growling and barking at the darkness, I am pretty sure nothing was there besides someone going for a midnight piddle. She also went swimming, on her own account - and I was very impressed with little Friday.
Kerry and I decided not to take tents so we slept under the stars, the temperature was perfect, not too many mozzies and a few good winks through the night, although I was woken up at 7am by Friday (who was fully of sand) jumping over my head - a few more grains of sand to add to my sandy bed.
Otherwise, we had great company, great food (Thanks to Dani and Hilal for the catering) and lots of fun in the sun. We went snorkeling, saw some really colourful fish, a jellyfish, a small turtle and also the weirdest looking fish I have ever seen in my life (it had a frill-like fin [means of movement] around the bottom of it, it had 2 big eyes, it was incredibly camouflaged against the coral, it was brown with a scale-like pattern all over its body - all I know is it looked very strange and I would like to know what it is and if it is poisonous or not), unfortunately I didn't have my underwater camera on me at that time so I didn't get a photos of it. Damn.
Anyway, here are some photos from the weekend of underwater life and beautiful Oman.....

Jellyfish
Lots of fun had by all..... ***Note for next time: take a tent so Friday sleeps though the night and doesn't growl at invisible intruders all night, take a stretcher to avoid sleeping in a mini sandpit on my mattress.
