Mean girls.

Real life mean girls. We all know a few.....

I was walking down the street with one of my very beautiful friends, who is one of the most internally beautiful, down to earth and loyal friends that I have. This girl yells out 'ewwwww' at my gorgeous friend. A girl that we have both known for years, who has always had a problem with my friend for no apparent reason. I asked her once 'why do you hate her' and she responded 'I just don't like her'. Fair enough, I thought. Sometimes personalities just clash and you just cant please everyone, but is it really necessary to yell out 'ewwww' at someone who has never done anything to you? 

Unfortunately there are dozens of these girls walking around and even as the years roll by, it seems they never really progress or mature. I remember being in grade 9 and being teased relentlessly - even to the point of a girl handing me a razor and telling me to kill myself because I was a waste of air. I thought, what is wrong with me? I try to be so nice and these girls just hate me and want me to die? 

Years later I realize that I am not the person who should be pitied, neither is my friend. What is going on in these girls heads that are making them act this way without even having a reason? What are they facing themselves? Are they acting out of spite or are they unfortunately just horrible people? Its really sad when you look deeper into these things and realize how unhappy and insecure they must be themselves and whats making them want to bring everyone down with them? I wonder if bitches have their expiry date where they turn themselves around or if they live this way forever? I sincerely hope one day that everyone will live in peace and just let each other live their own lives the way they want to live it.
