您可以幫我看看,現在幾點嗎?15個叫人看沒有的時鐘設計

Clock Designs

魚夫按:這15個時鐘,試圖改變咱們對時間的看法,每一個都很有趣,和大家分享:

3. Pop Quiz Clock

For all you math geniuses out there, the Pop Quiz Clock is for you. Obviously you don’t really have to know to be able to solve the equations to know what time it is. Part educational, part conversation starter, the Pop Quiz Clock is one of the more unique clocks you’ll see.

4. Domino Clock

The Domino Clock, introduced by Seattle-based Carbon Design Group, is a set of three larger-than-life dominoes equipped with articulating “dots” that flip back-and-forth between black and white to keep time. They hang on the wall or stand free, serving as a sculptural piece and a semi-abstract time keeper. This clock is the outcome of what is termed a “Passion Project” at Carbon Design – internal projects taken on to fuel the creative teams without typical client constraints.

5. Definition Of Time Clock

This branch concept by Wooteik Lim literally adds another dimension to time.

6. Melting Clock

This Dali inspired melting clock is hand painted Silver Gray with a subtle metallic sheen. It has a black border and numbers along with two daliesque ants. The clock face is finished with multiple coats of pre-catalyzed lacquer for a durable high gloss surface. (link)

7. Sundial Clock

The circular metal disk holds each of the twelve numbers perpendicular to the surface which become evident when their shadows are cast on to the painted white base. When viewed straight on the numbers appear to be a series of simple, parallel lines unlike the playful overlapping numbers which are visible when viewed from the side. (Designed by: frontdesign)

8. Color Blind Clock

The new clock design from sonodesign features color blind test. This clock is made of double thickness high quality acrylic. When you look closer, you will be able to see numbers hidden in amongst the spots. Designed by: Sono Design

9. Continue Time Clock

The Continue Time clock designed by Sander Mulder is simple, elegant, and functional all at the same time (ba-doom-ching!). A brilliant concept that is sure to impress; the single arm is jointed so each ‘section’ represents a different hand of a traditional timepiece.

10. It’s About Time

Reinforcing the idea that nobody has an excuse sit on their hands (ha-ha) when it comes to taking action against global warming, this clever clock, called “It’s About Time,” reminds us all that the clock is ticking.

11. 24h Sentence Maker Wall Clock

According to the write-up, it’s ‘a new way to measure the time with sentences’. Instead of numbers, you’ve got words, so the hands give you a different sentence (via the central ‘is’) at all hours of the day. Designed by Marti Guixe

12. The Clock

This has got to be one of the most amazing Clock Designs I’ve ever seen. At first glance, the display looks like a bunch of random matchsticks, but over time, they gradually transform into words that tell the time. By Dutch industrial designer Christiaan Postma

13. The meaning of time

The meaning of time is an awesome concept clock designed by Bomi Kim.

14. Uomino Clocks

I love these running guys – uomino clocks by diamantini & domeniconi. They are so much fun and look amazing on this bright yellow.

15. Redundant Clock

If you’re trying to teach your kids how to tell time, the Redundant Clock, designed by Ji Lee, is likely the last product you should be looking towards for assistance.

I was debating whether or not to actually write a detailed description for this clock, but that would be rather redundant, don’t you think?

Just know this, the Redundant Clock is completely WYSIWYG. In fact, I don’t think there is any other clock I’ve ever seen that better fits that description.
