Somewhere in between my my little online vintage business, behind my family, friends and boyfriend and wedged in between shopping, clubbing, twitter, facebook and the constant buzzing of my phone, I was feeling lost.
Lately I have been longing for silence and simplicity to clear the rushing of my head, so I decided to disappear for a few days. I turned off my phone and told my close ones that I was going on a imaginery holiday for 4 days. I know what your thinking - what a fucken weirdo. Yeah, I know. That's what most of them thought too.
On Thursday I started my day off with a massage, (a voucher that my boyfriend gave me for my birthday last month) then I bought a heap of pampering products, had a long bath and finished it off with a facial and a foot soak.
I headed down to a little park near my house with a homemade iced mocha, chocolate, brie cheese & crackers and some grapes. I admired the pure beauty of the view, the breeze, the smell of the trees, the pretty flowers and my clear mind.
I have been tossing and turning about some major decisions in my life including an overseas trip (hopefully a permanent move if I can figure out my visa) and I finally feel that I am starting to clarify the direction I am heading towards in 2012. Here are some pictures that I took at the park and on the walk home. I hope everyone has a delightful weekend xx
