Kåre Gade is a Danish journalist, writer and composer who lives and works in London. Using small 35mm range finders and point-and-shoot cameras his work often focuses on contemporary landscape. People play a minor role in his pictures, yet the nature he depicts is always shaped by human activities. Through the limitations of the cameras and the lack of digital manipulation his photos aim to give an unsentimental account of the beauty of cultural landscapes.
