我第一次遇見視野無限延伸的游泳池是在普吉島的一家五星級的飯店，當時也正幫一家旅行雜誌寫稿。由於我喜歡游泳，所以一進飯店換好裝就躍進了泳池，所謂視野無限延伸，比方說，當你游著自由式，頭部隨著手抬起換氣，剛剛好從池面望去就是和遠處的海平面是平行的，彷彿游在大海之中，卻不必破浪前進，我想設計這種游泳池的建築師應該也會游泳，只是不知他是不是在游泳時想到這種設計點子的？

When it comes to contemporary pools, some home owners prefer to let go of all physical limits. This is probably how infinity pools were born: by embracing a feel of absolute freedom and put it into practice. For today we gathered 30 contemporary pools that defy boundaries. You will probably find most of them spectacular, even unworldly. But we tried to keep things as realistic as possible, which is why we featured a few small-sized infinity pools as well. The most stunning designs are integrated in fascinating natural landscapes. In the photos below, some infinity pools face the sea or the ocean, so that swimming becomes a liberating activity.
