today while i dashed to a meeting in layton, beth came to my rescue and saved the day. it was 11 am, and our legally mandated court reporter bailed on our 4 pm hearing in heber city. i don't expect the details to make sense, but the point is - we were in a jam and beth bailed us out.

beth made the call, beth arranged the details. i had no clue who i was welcoming into the meeting and vice versa with the innocent court reporter.
kind of like being the girl, waiting with a long stemmed rose, beth told the court reporter to look for "the girl in the crazy clothes."

she knew me the second she saw me. horizontal and vertical stripes, ruffles, red, green, grey, orange, and so on.
life's too short to wear boring clothes.... and my morning's too rushed to find pieces that match.
